Poor Irishman Internet Marketing has reached a milestone today. In Spetember 2006 I headed to the County Court to register the business and pick up a business license. It's been one year since that event - and what a year it's been. I've made hundreds of new friends through several new networks. I've expressed my creative side with a variety of website designs. And, I've helped dozens of clients take a successful first step onto the world wide web. For the first year of business, I'd say I've met my goals. One of the main reasons for starting Poor Irishman Internet Marketing was to bring the highest quality of website design, and internet marketing to small businesses and organizations taking their first steps onto the internet. It's very important to take the right steps when establishing your domain name, website hosting, online representation, and internet marketing message. With the experience I bring to the table - all of my clients have been satisfied with their projects. As a result of the goal I laid out last year I've had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients. Initially I built a great site for Poor Irishman Internet Marketing - a base of operations. Then, I reached out to a few local businesses and helped them to make good decisions about hosting, and domain names. While some of the early clients did not go live with their sites - it was not due to a lack of effort on my part. These fols were just not ready to step online. ANd that taught me a valuable lesson. I can't get everyone online… only the companies that see the benefit and want to step up to more success using internet marketing. So - I tightened my target audience a bit - and found better fitting clients. Immediately I was helping a client to build an online store, another to represent their church, and still another to bring his message to a world wide audience. A huge thank you goes out to Michael Hudson of Big Idea Guru, LLC for a great boost at the beginning of my company. Michael and I worked closely to form a digital identity for his product offering, and client focused service… and Michael acted as mentor and teacher helping me to more narrowly define my service offering. Today, Poor Irishman Internet Marketing is looking forward to another great year of service. In fact, I will be tightening the radius a bit more - and targeting an even more defined audience. It's important that I define and dominate a specific target market in order to establish myself and Poor Irishman Internet Marketing as The Source for content management based internet marketing. At a glance, the strength of the company lies in my ability to help clients translate their offline message into a digital and online identity. And it will be that strength that carries Poor Irishman Internet Marketing into a strong future. THANK YOU to everyone who supports my effort to establish this company, and helps to make it grow! It would not be possible without my wife, my family, my friends, and the clients who trust me with their mesage. THANK YOU! Read more... |
