Have you ever thought about the act of holding hands?  If you are a 10-year old boy, and the thought of holding hands with the girl next door crossed your mind - shivers run all over your body!  If you are a young couple walking along the beach - wind in your hair - love in your heart… holding hands puts you on Cloud 9.  Perhaps when I am old, ready to pass from this world, the last hand I hold will be a comfort before the greatest adventure ever…

But when it come's to web hosting - trust me! - you don't want someone holding your hands!!  I rarely rant about any topic - but on this point I must make it very clear where I stand.  When I establish a new website, I search for a the hosting service that will give me the most bang for my buck.  A service that gives me access to all the rights and priveleges of the system administrator.  Otherwise - I feel like my hands are being held… in a vice grip!

When you have problems with email delivery - you need to be free to move around your server and resolve the problem.  When the website has a major increase in traffic - you need to be free to welcome new customers without fear of exceeding server thresholds.  There are several web hosting companies that exist for the sole purpose of making money.  Then there are those that exist to build a collection of domain names, hoping you will neglect to manage or renew so they can scoop up the resale value.

The hosting company Poor Irishman Internet Marketing uses far exceeds either of these base levels of Black Hat Customer Service.  I do not find it helpful when a company lists features & benefits as Quality Customer Service - that in reality are tactics to trap, limit, and frustrate customers ability to freely manage their own domain and website!
